Teaching Remotely: Prepare For When Classes Can't Meet


Technology Support Services at UTEP is providing technology webinars and workshops to help faculty and staff prepare for possible disruption to teaching and/or campus operations (for example, due to a pandemic or extended severe weather). These professional development opportunities will help to:

  • Use tools to communicate remotely with your stakeholders
  • Prepare in advance for a disruption (i.e faculty illness, extended leave time)
  • Conduct classes during a large-scale disruption to campus operations (i.e., severe weather, pandemic)
  • Proactively organize your course materials and communication with students.

Each webinar and workshop is designed to address pedagogical and/or technical best practices.
