3D printing is changing a multitude of industries and 3D design is a key skill that many employers are now looking for. Come and learn future job skills or just strengthen your personal interest in 3D design and printing by attending this academy.
There are both faculty, staff and student versions of the academy which explore slightly different takes on 3D from job skills to integrating 3D printing projects into your current course and syllabus.
The 3D Print Academy meets from 12-2pm the first Wednesday of every month Feb 2019 till May 2019. There is one exception in that 3D Print Academy participants must attend a 1-hour long Maker space workshop at the MIHCON (Maker, Hacker, Inventory) Conference at the UGLC on Sat Feb 23rd anytime between (8am - 5pm) in order to obtain a certification of completion from the 3D Print Academy.
Space for the 3D Print Academy is exceptionally limited so sign up ASAP to be considered. Accepted applicants will be notified by email on or before Jan 30, 2019.
